Hyeongshin (Hangul: 형신; formerly known as Yu Ha) is a South Korean dancer and rapper. She is a former member of the girl group HOT ISSUE.
Life and Career[]
Hyeongshin was born as Kim Hyoung-Shin (김형신) on May 3, 2002 in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Her family consists of her parents and an older brother.
2018–2019: Geupsik-Dan, ALLS-GIRL[]
On July 5, 2018, it was announced that Hyeongshin would be debuting as a member of Geupsik-Dan, a special sub-unit of the then-upcoming boy group D-CRUNCH.[1] The unit debuted on July 10 with their self-titled digital single.
On October 24, using the stage name Yu Ha, she was revealed as a member of the pre-debut girl group ALLS-GIRL.[2] However, on February 28, 2019, she departed from the group and its agency All-S Company.
2020: CAP TEEN[]
In October 2020, she was announced as a contestant on the teen survival show CAP-TEEN. In the 10th and final episode, she performed the original song "Ice Cold". She was then eliminated, finishing the show in 7th place.[3]
2021-2022: HOT ISSUE[]
On March 23, 2021, once again using the stage name Hyeongshin, she was revealed as the third member of the upcoming girl group HOT ISSUE.[4] The group debuted on April 28 with their first mini album Issue Maker.
On April 22, 2022, just four days before their one-year anniversary, HOT ISSUE announced their official disbandment.[5]
